"transcript": "this model is really something incredible, saved us like 600 dollars. my fiance is always breaking her electronics and then getting me to fix them. The other day she brought me her phone and it was stuck in a boot loop that wouldn't post. tried normal stuff, managed to get it to fastboot but the recovery mode wouldn't load and I couldn't find any firmware online. It's a folding phone and out of warranty so its not cheap to repair and usually isn't worth it, and she had basically written it off as dead. So I said hey what the hell, I've got fastboot access to the computer, let's just let AI give it a shot, can't get much worse.\n\nSo I loaded up pi and qwen, and basically just explained the situation. It took quite a while, but I checked up on it every once in a while and it successfully found the exact build that the phone had down to the same version, and then managed to save the device through fastboot. I am quite amazed. this is a situation I've never really trusted local models with, I found 3.6 to be incredible but not quite trustworthy enough to be left unattended or on more critical tasks. but 3.8 has been incredible in its reliability. \n\n this was on Q5 uncensored from orcarouter, xhigh\n\n\n\n--- Top Comments ---\n\n\n[1 upvotes] Your post is getting popular and we just featured it on our Discord! I don't know if you have a harness that tracks your token usage, but it's worth looking a look. I easily would spend $200-300 a month on subscriptions, without including coding usage. \n\n[34 upvotes] dont listen to the jealous ones my friend, while you were kicking it making ur graphics card do somthing other than play games, but instead save you time effort AND money.\n\nhaters were entering chat calling you \"fucking lazy\" instead of celebrating your win. and jealous about howmany iphones it took to buy your gpu that will save you even more down the line\n\nlet the haters hate. and the potatos potate\n\nits just like jensen said the more you buy the more you save! (jkjkjkjk....) also they prob got mad off the rip because u self reported u can pull chicks. (casually dropping you have a significant other) cant do that on reddit bro its like ur asking for the bridge trolls to attack\n\n[18 upvotes] I was looking at that orcarouter qwen 3.8 27b the other day. Their description says:\n> An abliterated (refusal-removed) and offline block-FP8 quantized build of Qwen/Qwen3.8-27B — a 27B-parameter dense, hybrid-attention (Gated DeltaNet linear + full attention) native vision-language model with flexible thinking control, tool-calling, and an MTP speculative-decoding head. This build removes the safety refusal direction, then re-quantizes to the exact FP8 scheme of the official Qwen/Qwen3.8-27B-FP8 so it serves with the identical vLLM kernel path — 262K context, tools + reasoning + MTP preserved. Browse all models in the OrcaRouter Model Catalog. This model is deployed as API here.\n\nBut the \"here\" link seems to go to a plain old qwen 3.8 27b model, it doesn't indicate anything other than that. Did you look into that at all? I'm just curious. Even searching for \"uncensored\" on their model catalog page brings up a Gemma 4 26B A4B and a Qwen 35B A3B but not this model. Just not what I expected from a model released by an api provider.",
