  "transcript": "The 5 hour limit for Codex to be honest is a bit ridiculous to me. Even doing fairly small coding tasks on Terra-Medium, I am hitting that 5 hour limit in less than an hour. \n\n\nOn top of that, when that 5 hour limit was reintroduced I noticed a substantial increase in the speed that my usage limit gets eaten up. Before I could make it last a few days at least, but now it's not looking like I'll make it through 36 hours? \n\n\nSketchy stuff. If it weren't for the usefulness of OpenAI's open ChatGPT browser chat which gives a lot more usage just without the Codex tools, I would switch to Claude pretty quick at this point. \n\n\nAnyone else noticing the same thing as me with the weekly limit?\n\n\n\n--- Top Comments ---\n\n\n[18 upvotes] I've seen soo many replies saying what more are you expecting on a $20 plan but the problem is that it used to give far more usage on this very plan a few weeks back\n\n[10 upvotes] I've been using Luna Max since I downgraded from Pro to Plus and I've been pretty happy with it even after 2 months getting used to Opus 4.8, Fable and 5.6 Sol medium/xhigh.. the only area I can confidently say it's worse is web UI stuff\n\nthat said, you can use a ton of Luna Max within the Plus limits... i find it wild that people are saying Plus is worthless\n\n[8 upvotes] terra is useless. at least use the sol medium\n\n[6 upvotes] I didn’t even use it & I got the 5 hour notification \n\n[6 upvotes] Since the reintroduction of the 5-hour timer, on a Plus account it now takes me two 5-hour windows just to use Sol High once on a codebase. That also burns a significant number of extra tokens because it has to spin the project up again in the second window.\n\nJust a couple of days ago, I was getting around five Sol High runs per week. Now I’m getting only two.\n\nTo be honest, the reduction in total usage compared with just a few days ago is pretty disturbing. This isn’t a small adjustment; it feels like a drastic reduction in what Plus actually provides.",
