"transcript": "One is from Sam Altman, the other Claude suggested and it works extremely well.\n\nThe first question I ask:\n\nWhat are you least confident about right now.\n\nThe AI will list like 6 to 7 things that it didn’t properly investigate. I would say one out of four times one of the items is a huge deal and you’re shocked that the AI even took action without understanding this first, then just have the AI investigate thoroughly exhaustively finding the root cause of each issue or just understanding each point.\n\nThe second question I ask (Sam Altmans): what’s the biggest thing I’m missing about the situation right now. What don’t I realize?\n\nBetween these two I’ve been consistently getting great results!\n\nSide note spent thousands of dollars and over a year on this: please check out [http://www.useviola.com/reddit](http://www.useviola.com/reddit) and viola oss on github [https://github.com/GeeIHadAGoodTime/viola-oss](https://github.com/GeeIHadAGoodTime/viola-oss), I’ve open sourced the project, we’re building a better version of alexa/siri/ or open ai/anthropics desktop apps etc.\n\nNot the actual model underneath of course but the harness/GUI.\n\nFor the average person who wants a ‘jarvis’ not for coding but for everyday assistance with real life task complete with a stylized GUI you can set in your kitchen and use with the model of your choice etc.\n\n\n\n--- Top Comments ---\n\n\n[89 upvotes] I’d add a third: “What assumption did you make that, if wrong, would change your answer the most?” That tends to surface hidden leaps pretty fast.\n\n[35 upvotes] The issue in that method is that you're prompting the LLM to provide you an answer, so you'll always get an answer, even if it's a minor topic. This is fine, if you're in your field of knowledge, but fatal if you don't know much about the subject of discipline. So there's no easy way then for you to judge if the issue is really a MUST or SHOULD or COULD.\n\nAnd keep in mind, LLMs are biased towards overengineering, as \"doing too much\" gets better benchmark results than \"doing not enough\". So these questions, when used wrongly, are a recipe for overengineering, time waste and token overspend.\n\n[6 upvotes] Please stop advertising",
