"transcript": "Ran three black-box fingerprint tests on stealth/ox-alpha (OpenRouter + OpenCode) vs public GLM-5.3 on z.ai.\n\n**1. Tokenizer:** I sent 6 texts (EN/DE/CN/code/emoji) and compared prompt\\_tokens. Ox Alpha = GLM-5.3 **exactly +75 on every text**. Same tokenizer, constant 75-token hidden system prompt. Kimi/Qwen/MiMo/MiniMax all diverge. Counts identical on both Ox routes.\n\n**2. Error strings:** Invalid reasoning\\_effort on Ox Alpha (OpenCode passes params through) returns:\n\n\"\\[1210\\] This model always engages in thinking and cannot be disabled; please use low, high, or max\", so the same as the GLM 5.3 error message\n\n**3. Temp-0 outputs:** Greedy, same prompts → same markdown quirks, same German-decimal LaTeX (\\`0{,}375\\`), near word-for-word matches on factual answers. Qwen/MiMo/Kimi format these completely differently.\n\n**Conclusion:** I'm quite sure than Ox Alpha is a GLM model. Not sure if it's a vision variant of GLM 5.3 (GLM 5.3V) or a completely new version like GLM 5.5 but I guess it's unlikely that [Z.AI](http://Z.AI) drops 5.5 so early but idk.\n\nWhat are your thoughts?\n\n\n\n--- Top Comments ---\n\n\n[1 upvotes] Dropping 5.5 a week after 5.3 would be insane\n\nmy money's on either a 5.3 air or vision variant like you say. \n\n[1 upvotes] Ox Alpha feels like pretty powerful model ngl\n\n[1 upvotes] It can be distilled smaller footprint model from GLM similar qwen 27b with Vision \n\n[1 upvotes] How do they have so much capacity though?\n\n[1 upvotes] Thanks for the convincing analysis. 80% on DeepSWE, if this holds and its an \"air\" model I dont see a future for Fable 5.1 and Astra. I think if 80% on DeepSWE will hold, it is a bigger model with vision that will likely also cost quite a lot to run. I guess Astra and Fable 5.1 will than perform similar or even better which is exciting to think about.",
