The negative reaction is given more fuel by the whole Bruckmaster-Buebeck fued. Without that, it would be a lot harder to paint this in a negative light. \n\n2. I think right now, announcing solutions to non-millenium problems theoretical CS (which the blog is talking about in this quote) might land with somewhat of a dud given the NS announcement. I can see an instance where the bosses tell the math teams to stop bothering with anything \"less\" than a millennium problem. ",
