  "transcript": "I set up an AI assistant for my girlfriend last week,\nand we took about five minutes,\nand she's been using it every day from her phone\nsince doing things like research,\nplanning, asking random questions,\nand she has no idea what OpenClaw is.\nShe's not technical at all, and to be honest,\nshe doesn't care.\nShe just wanted a cool AI system.\nNow, the same platform that I'm going to show you\nin this video in that I did\nthis with, has pre-built experts\nthat can do things like track viral trends,\nrun multi-source research, generate content and stuff\nthat would\nnormally take you a while to set up yourself\nif you were using your own OpenClaw.\nAnd this all just works completely out of the box.\nAnd the reason for that is that I'm using Max call\nand this is mini.\nMax is hosted version of Open Claw.\nAnd in this video\nI'm going to show you how it works and dig\ninto some of the pre-built use cases that they have\nthat I think are actually worth your time.\nIf you just quickly want to spin up an AI system.\nOkay, so let me quickly talk about what Max claw is.\nNow, I'm sure most of you are probably familiar\nwith OpenClaw.\nIf not, all you need to know\nis that this is an AI agent orchestration framework\nwhere you give it an AI model, tools, memory\nskills, configurations, and it can actually do stuff\nfor you autonomously in the background\nwithout you having to ask it to do it automatically.\nNow, the catch is that setting this up\ntakes a lot of work.\nI have a lot of videos on my channel\nwhere I show the in-depth setup.\nYou need API keys, model deployment,\nMCP config, memory\nsetup, tool integrations, rate limiting,\nall of this kind of stuff.\nRight now it's not impossible.\nYou can definitely do it,\nbut it is a large project for most people\nwho just want something really quickly spun up,\nespecially if you have a simple use case.\nNow Max skips all of that setup.\nYou get an OpenClaw running on MiniMax\nis infrastructure powered by their new\n2.7 model, which we'll talk about in a second,\nbut it also comes with a full toolset.\nSo things like web search, image generation, video\ngeneration, code execution, web scraping,\nyou name it.\nAnd it works on web, desktop, mobile, telegram,\ndiscord, slack, you name it.\nThey have all of the integrations.\nAnd the cool part is over 10,000 pre-built experts.\nSo you can just select them.\nYou can see right here there's like a bunch of them.\nIf I go to this page and just choose\nwhich one you want to use for your max clock.\nAnyways, I'm\ngoing to show you exactly how to set this up,\nbut I want to quickly talk about the model\nthat's powering Max Clore,\nbecause it's making a lot of noise right now\nin the AI community, and that is the M 2.7 model.\nNow, the reason\nwhy this model is getting a lot of attention\nis because it's one of the first models\nthat's contributed to its own training.\nSo when you train these AI models,\nyou need a lot of infrastructure, right?\nYou need automated testing. You need validation.\nYou have different test suite ML deployments,\nall of this kind of stuff.\nRight. Going on.\nAnd what the team at mini\nMax actually did here when they trained Em 2.7\nis they had it improved that harness\naround the training every single iteration.\nSo without going into too much detail effectively\nthey would use the default model.\nThe model would fine tune its kind of inputs and,\nyou know, the training harness that was being used.\nAnd they did that 100 times\nwith no human intervention.\nAnd the model was able to improve by over 30%.\nThat means that currently minimax\nM 2.7 is right up there with the frontier\nmodels like opus and GPT,\nexcept it's significantly cheaper to run.\nThey're very soon going to be OpenClaw, sourcing\nall of the weights and it's significantly better\nat tool calling, which makes it a really good model\nfor OpenClaw use cases with a ton of different tools.\nConnect.\nAgain, I don't want to go into too much detail,\nbut most standard models\nfall apart when you give them like 20, 30, 40\nplus tools or skills.\nThe minimax\nM 2.7 model was tested in these situations,\nwhere it was given a ton of different skills\nand it maintained a 97% compliance rate,\nwhere most of the other comparable\nmodels are only running at 74%.\nSo anyways, that's kind of the brief on M 2.7,\nand that's why they've released this MaxClaw feature,\nwhich I want to show you how to set up\nand what I've been using it for.\nAll right.\nSo I just go to\nthe May bot here from the minimax platform.\nI'll leave a link to this in the description\nin case you want to set up your own.\nAnd what you'll see is that she's been using this\nconsistently over the past few days here.\nWe started by just connecting to telegram,\ngetting the bot token and stuff.\nAnd then she's been giving like really detailed\nprompts, information about herself.\nShe wants to be like a UGC content creator.\nSo she's asking for like recommendations\non, you know, her\nportfolio and content ideas\nand keeping her motivated and all of this stuff.\nLike I'm just viewing it from the platform, but\nshe's doing it directly from her phone on telegram.\nShe's not technical at all.\nShe hasn't had to set anything up.\nIt hasn't broke.\nIt's cost me,\nyou know, a few dollars effectively to run it\nusing minimax token subscription,\nwhich I'm going to show you in one second.\nNow, you can see that if we look at the files,\nthere's some different skills that are built in here.\nThere is some various logos that were generated\nbecause she was asking for some image gen for her\nUGC agency.\nThere's some information in like agents\nheartbeat things that need to be done.\nYou know maze to do list, you know identity right.\nAll of these different things\nthat we want it to kind of talk like.\nAnd anyways, you get the idea.\nShe set all of this up\nwithout me really needing to do anything at all.\nSo what I want to show you how to do\nnow is set up your own MaxClaw, go over the pricing,\nand then I'll show you\nsome of the experts that they have.\nSo if you do want to deploy her on Max,\ncause a few ways to do this,\nyou can do it from the web,\nwhich I'm going to do in this video.\nOr you can download the Mac, windows, iOS\nor Android, desktop or mobile applications.\nI'll leave a link to this in the description.\nNow, in terms of the pricing,\nyou can directly pay just to use mini\nMax agents, which includes using Max claw.\nAnd what this will do is give you a set of credits,\nand then those credits can be consumed by you\njust running a task on the agent platform\nand just interacting\ndirectly with the models and experts\nthat they have there.\nOr you can use this for max score,\nso it's kind of interchangeable.\nthen it will run based on those credits.\nAnd here's kind of the pricing.\nYou can see it's as low as $19 per month.\nOr you can go yearly obviously, and save some money.\nAnd cool thing is, anytime you sign in, you will get\nan additional 200 credits every single day.\nSo this can last quite a long time\nas long as you're signing into the platform.\nHowever, the way that I'm going to run\nthis is actually using Mini\nMax's new token plan,\nso I'm subscribed to Mini Max's token plan.\nThis is a all modality plan where effectively\nwhat you can do is pay a certain amount per month.\nIt starts as low as like $20 I believe.\nAnd this gives you credits that are usable\nnot just for the\nAI agent tasks, but also for multimodal.\nSo what I mean by that is like image\ngeneration, video generation, voice generation.\nIf we scroll down here,\nyou can see based on the plan that you choose,\nyou get a certain amount of request to the base\nmodel, to the speech\nmodel, to the image gen, to the halo,\nwhich is the video generation models.\nAnd then there's also high speed plans as well.\nSo this is a super cool thing\nthat they've rolled out.\nSo you're not paying for different usage\nor you don't have a ton of different API keys.\nYou just subscribe to one plan.\nYou can use it for coding.\nYou Ready?\nOkay.\nSo we just deployed here,\nand the specific agent or expert that I deployed\nwas an image generation expert.\nSo let's just start by asking it something simple.\nHey, can you generate an AI image of the creator tech\nwith Tim, look up,\nsee what he looks like, or do some research on him\nso you can gather maybe what he would look like\nand then create kind of like a cartoon AI,\nyou know, animated version of him and give it to me.\nOkay. So cool.\nLet's go ahead and run this\nand let's see if we can handle that.\nOh yes. You can see that this is running.\nI haven't connected this or giving it anything else.\nIt's automatically completing web search.\nSo it has access to that tool\nwhich I didn't configure.\nIt just has that out of the box right.\nSoon it will start doing\nthe image generation as well.\nAnd then we can view all of the files and skills\nand whatnot that it has access to right here\nin this file menu.\nNow I could connect this to telegram.\nI can connect to a slack if I want.\nI'm not going to do that in this video.\nAnd to do that I would just tell it, hey, help me\nconnect to slack, help me connect to telegram.\nAnd it will just go through the process and tell you\nwhat you need to do, because you need to create\na bot, in this case for telegram,\nyou can see it's looking up some stuff, right?\nFinding tech with Tim, who is this\ntech with Tim channel, all of this kind of stuff.\nLet's wait for it to do the image scan\nand then I'll be right back.\nOkay. So it gave us the image\nhere. And I have to say it's not bad.\nI mean, this isn't 100% look like me.\nI didn't give it like a reference photo.\nSo it's just doing research.\nBut overall I would say this is pretty good.\nDark buzzcut, thick eyebrows, short stubble.\nI mean, look, that's pretty much me. Layered flannel.\nI probably just found one of the photos\nwhere I was wearing that\nand then gave me a fun, vibrant\ncoding theme backdrop with Python.\nYou know, all of these kind of coding symbols.\nThat's pretty cool.\nAnd notice it was actually using another tool,\nwhich is an image analysis tool where\nwhat it's doing is actually looking up various images\nand then understanding what's inside of them.\nAs you can see here with the preview files,\nall of that kind of stuff.\nOkay, so that's that expert.\nI'm just going to show you some different things\nyou could do with this,\nbecause obviously your use case\nis going to be different than mine.\nBut what I'm going to do now is just tear down\nthis max clone,\nmake another one and pick a different expert\nso we can see what it can do.\nAll right.\nSo let's go with this trend Intel one same thing.\nLet me connect it to my plan. All right.\nSo this one is deployed.\nLet's ask you to do some trend stuff.\nHey go research all of the trends\nthat are currently happening specifically\nwith AI and OpenClaw, Max claw, mini Max, different\nAI models.\nWhat's happening right now?\nMarch 31st, 2026 as of me recording this video.\nOkay,\nand here we go. It's giving me all of the context.\nSo biggest story OpenClaw is having a moment of pixel\nis definitely a story of March 2026.\n250,000 GitHub stars by mid-March.\nYou know it's growing massively.\n700 million users is insane.\nLobster fever minimax.\nThe company behind MaxClaw revenue,\nmore than doubled M 2.5 M\n2.7 12 models in seven days.\nOkay, major models released this month\nand it's still going okay.\nCool.\nOkay, so obviously that's useful,\nbut with setting this up, you can do\nexactly what you would do with OpenClaw\njust using Max claw.\nSo if I want this to give me this report every day,\nfor example, or every month or every week,\nI can just ask it to do that\nso I can say something like, hey, I want you\nevery second day to send me a report.\nJust like this\nwith the up to date research and findings.\nBut I want to be a little bit shorter, more concise\nand just key bullet points.\nI need to be aware of.\nBoom.\nWe're going to go ahead and press enter.\nAnd then in the background again it can automatically\nset up a cron or a task to go in.\nSend me these results.\nAnd like I mentioned if I connected to another source\nlike telegram, which is very easy,\nI just need to get the bot token,\nthen it will just send it to me on telegram\nso you can chat with the here.\nYou can chat with it on another platform and you can\nset it up and configure it as much as you want.\nYou can tell it to add a skill.\nYou can add an integration,\nyou can connect to an MCP server.\nYou can do it all here.\nThe point is it just deployed automatically\nin a secure environment works very quickly.\nAnd if you want something simple, it's obviously,\nyou know, 100 times faster to use something like this\nthan it is to try to deploy your own virtual\nprivate server instance with OpenClaw on it.\nSo you can see it says, okay, every two days\nwe're going to run this thing here, boom, boom, boom,\ngood to go.\nAnd then same thing if you look at these files here,\nif you want to change the saw,\nthe identity, the tools, whatever,\nmake your own manual skills.\nYou can actually just edit it directly here.\nYou also can download everything here\nby pressing this button.\nThen you can add attachments, right?\nLike files, images, whatever inside of here\nif you want to upload them\ndirectly to your Mac's clock.\nOkay. So with that said\nlet's actually just add a skill here.\nSo I'm going to go manage skills and I'm\njust going to create a new one here with Max claw.\nSo let's ask it right here I want to add a new skill.\nCan you show me how to create one using chat files\nor claw plugins?\nOkay cool. So in my case I'm just going to have it\nmake a manual skill.\nI'm going to say turn the reports\nthat I asked you for and to a structured\nskill that we run every second day,\nrather than just randomly trying to do it.\nOkay, boom.\nAnd let's have it do that and just create the skill\nout of that kind of research report.\nSo it's in the process of doing this, but you can see\nthat it's created this AI trends report skill now.\nSo I just made this folder in a second\nis going to make the file.\nAnd then we should be able to see it in here.\nAll right. And if we go here\nwe can see the skill has now been created.\nAnd we can view it in you understand\nexactly what it is it's going to do every single day.\nNow let's go.\nI want to actually just make one more new Max\ncall here.\nAnd I want to try doing something related to coding\njust because obviously this is a development channel.\nSo let me turn this on, add my key\nand let's go with the default one.\nAnd let's try to do some coding tasks.\nSo while I'm waiting for this to deploy\nI've just gone to my skills here.\nAnd if I quickly have a look in the skills\ntab a bunch of skills.\nSo your skills.\nSo if you go to manage skills here,\nyou can see that you have all of them here.\nAnd now.\nYou can just ask it to use this skill\nand it can automatically use it.\nNow I don't need to add this to each max skill,\njust purely because of the fact that I added it to\nmy skills.\nIt can now use it\nso all of them have access to the same ones, right?\nAnd then I can chat with it and you get the idea.\nOkay, so let's try to make like a basic landing page.\nI want to try to do some more image or video Gen.\nLet's see if it can handle that okay.\nSo I'm just giving this a detailed prompt effectively\nsaid, you know, create a landing page\ndoing some AI photo video generation and talk about,\nyou know, you can read this if you want\nAI generated content in the future.\nLet's see if I can do that.\nSo it's just in the process of doing the video now\nand some of the other stuff,\nbut you can see like this is one of the images\nit generated fully using AI.\nI don't know about you guys.\nThat looks like a real image to me.\nI mean, obviously these other ones,\nif we take a look, I mean, these are meant\nto be AI generated images\nand not like photorealistic, but still pretty cool.\nAnd the fact that this just happens under one plan\nand I don't need to like, connect anything else.\nAnd it just works, you know, is cool.\nOkay, it looks like it's completed\nand it's actually deployed this automatically for us,\nwhich is interesting.\nI didn't know it was going to do that.\nAnd if we go here\nwe can see the age of generative media is here.\nScroll down.\nWe get the stats, we get some of the images\nthat were generated with the various prompt.\nWe come here.\nWe have an AI generated video,\nsix seconds at 760 £0.08\nof a dragon flying, which kind of matches this image\na little bit, I guess, that they gave us.\nNow, of course,\nI could generate some more impressive stuff,\nbut I just want something quickly to be whipped up.\nAnd again, that was done with Max claw\nusing my token plan that I'm already paying for\nwith all of the supplementary stuff\nlike image and video gen,\nwhich is not an additional cost, it's\njust included in the plan, which I think is crazy\nbecause if I were to do this using my actual\nown OpenClaw,\nfirst of all, I'd pay for the deployment,\nwhich would be about as expensive\nas running this just on the token subscription.\nAnd then I would have to pay for all of the usage.\nIf I'm using opus, for example,\nwe're already going to be at multiple dollars\njust in the first day, whereas here I'm\njust running on the subscription that has,\nyou know, very generous limits and I'm nowhere near\nto actually reaching the end of it.\nOkay.\nSo hopefully that's helpful in terms of showing\nwhat's possible here.\nObviously, it's going to be better\nif you connect this up to telegram and whatnot.\nSo you can use it from your phone,\nbut overall quite cool.\nSo at this point I think it's time to share my honest\nopinion on Max and who I think should\nand shouldn't use it.\nNow, first of all, this is quite cool, right?\nIt works incredibly well in my opinion.\nIt's very, very easy to set up.\nYou don't need to be technical.\nAs you saw, I literally did one for my girlfriend.\nIt's extremely easy\nand if you just want something that I'm going to say\nis like simple to medium complexity\nin terms of like an AI agent,\nthis is just a no brainer for me to go with,\nand even I will use it and did use it myself,\nbecause setting up your own OpenClaw instance,\nprovisioning the VP's, doing the security,\nmaking sure you don't leak a token\nthat is extremely time consuming\nand in the amount of time it takes you to set it up,\nyou could already have the result\nusing something like this.\nNow, that said, the one thing that I do see\nas a downside of this is the fact\nthat is not as configurable or scalable\nas setting up your own instance.\nSo if you are a developer,\nif you are super technically competent,\nif you want a super advanced OpenClaw\nAI agent that you're willing to sync\n20, 30, 40, 100 hours into building,\nthis isn't the way to do it, obviously, right?\nYou want to deploy your own.\nYou want to have it on your own hardware.\nMaybe on a virtual private server,\nyou want to dig into the files.\nYou want to run the commands,\nyou want to SSH into the instance.\nBut I just know a lot of people\nare not interested in doing that,\nespecially if you quickly want to spin it up now.\nNext, let's talk a little bit about the cost.\nThis is objectively\nsignificantly cheaper than running\npretty much any other OpenClaw instance\nthat I've seen, not just from the hosting cost,\nbecause if you are going to deploy your own,\nyou need to either buy your own machine, which is,\nyou know, hundreds\nif not thousands of dollars or hosted on a VP's\nwhere you have a monthly subscription,\nright at maybe ten bucks or something.\nBut if you use some of the frontier models,\nyou use image gen,\nyou use video gen, you use these different tools.\nYou're now paying for all of those\ndifferent subscriptions and immediately\nyou're in, you know, 30, 40, 50, 100 and $200\nper month, depending on the amount that you use.\nThis in my case, I've spent over probably\n$1,000 running OpenClaw instances\njust in API usage with Claude and Anthropic\nand with minimax.\nHere I'm on the $20 per month plan.\nI can run multiple Max Klaw instances.\nI don't need to pay for the hosting,\nand I can just use the token plan\npretty much unlimited as long as I'm\nwithin the usage thresholds, which again, are very,\nvery generous and get access to all the features\nlike image, video, gen, all that kind of stuff\nthat normally I would pay separately for.\nSo if you do have a lot of that going on\nand you're doing different modality of,\nyou know, generations of speech, text, etc.,\nI would definitely consider checking this out.\nEven if you don't use the max claw,\nyou could consider just using the MiniMax model\ndirectly inside of your own OpenClaw instance,\nbecause again, the tool calling is very,\nvery good and compliant, and then you just have\none subscription for everything.\nYou don't have to pay for multiple.\nSo anyways guys, that's my honest opinion.\nI think this is quite cool, I like it.\nI'm going to be using some of these different\nMaxClaw bots, like what I talked about for something,\nyou know, simple to medium complexity.\nWhen I want these types of features, it's\nnot completely replacing
